The San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers formed in 1986 to play traditional Scottish fiddle music. Members meet the third Sunday of each month in homes and community halls around the San Francisco Bay area, drawn together by our strong sense of community and delight in sharing the music we love.
Now is the winter of our COVID discontent (slowly) made glorious summer by this sun of California; and our stern alarums will indeed change to merry meetings, and, while we may play a few marches, we sincerely hope they will not be dreadful. We will play many delightful measures. (No comment on the capering, though our guitar players have been known to capo nimbly.)
See our Events Calendar for details of upcoming public performances.
We expect to continue to support on-line participation in our monthly meetings even as we work toward in-person gatherings, so please join us on the third Sunday of each month, physically or virtually. COVID and geographical barriers cannot stop us!
Newcomers are welcome! Email firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
